Vickie Vail was purchased from Beartooth Ranch in 1997. We first saw this female on a ranch visit in 1991. She was a tremendous Gelbvieh female whose image was even used by the AGA for their promotion of the Gelbvieh cow. We had no idea at the time, the impact this cow would have on our program. It seems that in our post-dispersal era, her progeny are the best represented from our original cow families. She has undoubtedly become the most dominant female in our history to date. Her progeny excel in growth, structural soundness, and eye appeal.
