TJB TAYD Gladiator J141 was the high-selling bull of our 2022 TJB/3T Spring Bull Sale and has been working successfully for Weston Boone. We have utilized Gladiator extensively through AI, primarily on heifers, with excellent results. His calves are born small and manageable, yet grow rapidly and perform at a high level. Gladiator is a bull we admittedly have underutilized early in our program. He has been used largely on first-calf heifers, but we are now flushing donors and breeding our top cows to him, and we are excited to see the next chapter of his impact unfold. Gladiator is a homozygous black, higher-percentage son of the legendary 579C, a donor that has consistently elevated our program. He blends proven calving ease with performance and carcass merit, backed by an impressive EPD profile. Gladiator ranks in the top 25% of the breed for CED, BW, WW, and YW, while also placing in the top 20% for Marbling. It is rare to find a homozygous black, higher-percentage bull with this level of balance, proven calving-ease success, and the backing of one of the most respected cow families in the breed.
